This question is very simple. First make an equation. X represents the number u are looking for so the equation is 2/3 * X + 2= 10. To begin subtrct 2 from 10 so the equation is now 2/3 * X= 8. Then divide 8 by 2/3 or multiply it it by 3/2 which is like doing the same thing. You then get X = 12. put this in the equation 2/3 * 12 + 2 = 10
