"area of the base" = (pi)r^2
"radius" (given) = 1.25 in
"area of the base" = (3.14)(1.25)^2
"area of the base" = (3.14)(1.25)^2
"area of the base" = (3.14)1.5625
"area of the base" = 4.90625
.
Vol = 4.90625 * 5.25 = 25.76 cubic inches
