Question 145199: [3(-4)+6].(-3)Please break it down step by step in order of operations thanks
Answer by vleith(2983) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
[3(-4)+6] *(-3)
From the inside out, evaluate parens first
[3(-4)+6] *(-3)
[-12 +6] *(-3)
There are no more nested parens, so evaluate parens again, left to right
[-6] * (-3)
Now do multiplications, left to right
remember negative times negative is positive
