2x-2%282-x%29=-3%28x-1%29 Start with the given equation



2x-4%2B2x=-3x%2B3 Distribute


4x-4=-3x%2B3 Combine like terms on the left side


4x=-3x%2B3%2B4Add 4 to both sides


4x%2B3x=3%2B4 Add 3x to both sides


7x=3%2B4 Combine like terms on the left side
