For a maths test, the mean is 65, the standard deviation is 8. What percent of students scored a mark below 49 in Maths?
-------
z(49) = (49-65)/8 = -16/8 = -2
----
Percent below 49 = Percent below z= -2 = normalcdf(-100,-2) = 0.0228 = 2.28%
