rewrite as (5/8)-(4/5); the (-5) in the denominator makes that fraction negative but not the common denominator, which will be 40. Removing the parentheses from -5 keeps it -5.
-(4/5) is also [-4/5] or [4/-5].
common denominator of 40.
numerator is 25-32=-7
-7/40. or 7/(-40) or -(7/40)
