The negative in the exponent means "invert":
= (5/3)^(3/4)
------
The 3 in the exponent means "cube"
= (125/16)^(1/4)
------
The 4 in the exponent means "4th root"
= [(125)^1/4] / 2 or [5^3]/4 /2 or (1/2)
