Question 229645: Ok I'm not exactly sure what category this goes under, but we learned how to identify "Sub-problems" which is basically a problem that you have to solve from a bigger problem. Confusing? I know. But this is the question I was stuck on. "Five housemates held a party. They agreed to share the expenses equally. Leroy spent \$20 on soft drinks. Alex spent \$5 on paper plates. Kulwinder spent \$13 on decorations. Max spent \$16 on snacks. Bobbi spent \$8 on envelopes and paper to send out invitations, and she also spent \$7.40 on postage stamps. Who owes money to whom?" Basically I'm stuck on how to find the "Sub-problems" or how to go about solving the problem. If anyone knows how to do so then I would appreciate it a lot! Thank you so much in advance!!
