Question 999611: ``solve each system of equations by the substitution method
6x-3y=5
X+2y=0

Solve the second one and substitute into the first equation...
6x-3y=5
x+2y=0
and
x = -2y
and
6(-2y)-3y=5
-12y-3y=5
-15y=5
divide by -15 and get
y = -1/3
x = 2(-1/3) = 2/3
