Question 994087: The equation 3w^2+5w represents the area of a rectangle where w is width. What is the length in terms of w?
Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
length(l) * width(w) = area of rectangle
we know the area of the rectangle is 3w^2+5w, then
l * w = 3w^2+5w
divide both sides of = by w
l = 3w + 5
