Question 993782: Are y=-1/5x+1 & 2x+10y=3 parallel, perpendicular or neither? I tried to do it on paper but its not making sense
Answer by rfer(16322)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x+10y=3
10y=-2x+3
y=-2/10x+3
y=-1/5x+3
-------------
y=-1/5x+1
The slopes are the same so they are parallel
