I tried this...
a(x-5/a) + a(1) = a(b)
x-5 + a = ab
x + a = 5 + ab
x = 5 + ab - a
but i don't think that that's right. =/ This question is from textbook

You might ask yourself why you don't think that your answer is right?
Multiply both sides by a.
Subtract a from both sides.
Finally. add 5 to both sides.
