It's not an equation, it's an expression.
An equation has an "=" sign in it.
Negative multiplied by negative is positive.
Negative multiplied by positive is negative.

7 - (-4) + 3(-6)
--------
= 7 + 4 + 3(-6)
= 7 + 4 + (-18)
= 11 + (-18)
= 11 - 18
= -7

PS It's not an equation, and it's not solved.
There's no equal sign --> not an equation.
There no variable to solve for.
