Question 938459: How would I shade the solution set for the inequalities?
x+y is less than or equal to 3
y is greater than or equal to -x
Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + y ≤ 3
y ≤ -x + 3
Graph the boundary line y = -x + 3, then shade down on the y-axis (below the line)
because the sign is ≤ when in "slope-intercept form"
-------------
y ≥ -x
Graph the boundary line y = -x, then shade up on the y-axis (above the line)
because the sign is ≥ when in "slope-intercept form"
