What are the steps that will take to transform the equation 10x+2y=25 into the equation y = -5x+25/2
-----
Starting with 10x+2y = 25
Subtract 10x from both sides to get:
2y = -10x + 25
-----
Divide both sides by 2 to get:
y = -5x + 25/2
