x^2+y^2=16
solve first equation for y and substitute in second equation, then
x^2 + (8/x)^2 = 16
x^2 + 64/x^2 = 16
multiply both sides of = by x^2
x^4 + 64 = 16X^2
subtract 16x^2 from both sides of =
x^4 -16x^2 + 64 = 0
factor equation
(x^2 -8)* (x^2 -8) = 0
x^2 = 8
x = 2*square root(2)
y = 2*square root(2)
