3/5x+2y/5=1
2/5x-2y=12
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the answer for thes:
1st: 3/5x+2y/5=1
2nd: 2/5x-2y=12
-------------------------
Multiply thru by 5 to get rid of the denominators:
3rd: 3x + 2y = 5
4th: 2x - 10y = 60
------------------
Multiply 3rd by 5 to get:
5th: 15x + 10y = 25
----------
Add 4th and 5th to get:
17x = 85
x = 85/17 = 5
===================
Substitute into 3rd to solve for y:
3*5 + 2y = 5
2y = -10
y = -5
===============
