Question 894941: Solve for X where X is a real number. (X^4 -1) / (X^3) = 0
The ^ means exponent.

Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(X^4 -1) / (X^3) = 0
multiplying both sides by x^3:
(X^4 -1) = 0
add 1 to both sides
x^4 = 1
x = {-1, 1}
