You can use any unit circle picture online.
On the unit circle, a point is given to be (x,y) = (cosine,sine).
Where on the unit circle is y or sine = -1/2?

At y = 11pi/6, and 7pi/6, the value is given to be -1/2.

One the unit circle, y or sine equals -1/2 at the two above radian values given.
