so i came up with 3x...now i restate as 6/3x+2x/3x=1 6/3+2x/3x=1if i simplfy the first part,the fraction i get 4 but 4 doesnt equal 1..so i am doing something wrong..

   |Multiplying thru by 3x so as all denominators = 1

  6 + 2x = 3x

      6 = x
