Question 86990: Graph the solution set of x > 7.
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph the solution set of x > 7.
------------
You cannot graph the INEQUALITY directly.
You have to graph the EQUALITY which is the boundary
of the INEQUALITY.
The boundary for your problem is x=7.
Plot two points (7,0), (7,5) and draw a dashed line thru them.
That is the boundary of the INEQUALITY.
The half-plane to the right of the boundary is the graph of the INEQUALITY.
Shade that half-plane.
