-5x+3y=-2  

-2x+3y=-5

subtracting 2nd from 1st to eliminate y

-5x+3y=-2  

+2x-3y=+5

  -3x = 3

    x = -1   and    y = -7/3

(-1,  -7/3) Is the ordered pair that is the solution for this system
