Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

-->
This is a quadratic that you can factorise as (8x-5)(x-3) = 0
so either 8x-5 = 0 OR x-3 = 0
so x = 5/8 OR x = 3
