As the y value goes up by 5, x goes up by 2,
so the slope is 5/2. m=5/2
Use the template y=mx+b and the point (1,1), x=1,y=1
1=(5/2)(1)+b
1=(5/2)+b
add -5/2 to each side
1-5/2=b
2/2-5/2=b
-3/2=b
So our equation is y = (5/2)x - 3/2
