Hi,
Isolating x on one side of the EQ
|Multiplying both sides of the EQ by 7 !
x = 70

x/7=-10
You need to see what you have here.
x/7 means x*1/7
x*1/7=-10
what is the inverse of 1/7 ? 7 of course
multiply by 7
x=7*-10
x=-70
