Question 801091: Park admission is $24. Rides are $1.50 each. I have $40.50 before I pay for admission. How many rides can I have? What is the best way to do the equation?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have $40.50
Park admission = $24
$40.50 - $24 = $16.50
You have $16.50 to spend on rides.
The rides cost $1.50
$16.50/$1.50 = 11 rides
Hope this helps.
