find the common denominator for 5 and 15, which will be 15 so multiply by 1 which doesn't change anything and multiply by 3
so

cross multiply

since both sides are multiples of 15 you can cancel them out, then you get

divide both sides by -2

x=-4

Solve for x:

When you write 2/15x it could mean: or
When you mean you ought to use parentheses thusly:(2/15)x to remove any ambiguity. Anyway, I'll assume that you mean it how I've written it in the first equation.
Multiply through by 15 to clear the fractions.
Simplify.
Add 2x to both sides.
Subtract 14 from both sides.
Divide both sides by 2.

Check: Substitute x = -4
=
