5/3(9+w)=-10
(45+5w)/3=-10 cross multiply.
45+5w=-30
5w=-30-45
5w=-75
w=-75/5
w=-15 answer

5/3(9-15)=-10
5/3(-6)=-10
-30/3=-10
-10=-10
