Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Candy takes 70 minutes to deliver all the papers.
Tim takes 80 minutes to deliver all the papers
Candy's rate 1/70
Tim's rate 1/80
Combined rate = 1/x
1/70 + 1/80 = 1/x
Common denominator = 5600x
80x + 70x = 5600
150x = 5600
x = 37.3 minutes
x = 37 minutes 20 seconds.
Hope this helps.
