Question 756791: If emily sold three times as many balloons as Beth, but together they both sold 152 balloons. How many balloons did emily sell?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Emily = 3x
Beth = x
3x + x = 152
4x = 152
x = 38
So Emily sold 3 x 38 balloons
= 114 balloons
Hope this helps.
