Question 755146: Ok hello any tutors out there I am doing pre algebra equations and I just can't understand these equations and they are driving me nuts ok so this is the equation 10(c-6)+4=2+c-58 so i know i have to use the distributive property first and do the parenthesis so that would be 10c-60+4=2c-58 but i get stuck after that so i guess i could subtract the c from both sides but i don't know if that would work. I am so lost please help!!
Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Goal: render c on one side and computable constants on the other side.
Use the additive inverse of +c.
Use the ....wait...
by simplifying the constants present on their sides...
Now, use the additive inverse of .
Use multiplicative inverse of .
You should now have your answer.
