At Alices Restaurant the waiters are paid twice as much per hour as the bus boys and the busboys are paid twice as much per hour as the dishwashers. If there are 8 waiters 4 busboys and 3 dishwashers at the restaurant and the dishwashers are paid x dollars per hour which of he following algebraic functions can be used to calculate the total pauroll for the restaurant?

Given ........ Pay .. * .. # workers .. = .. total
3 dish ....... x .. * .. 3 .. = .. 3x
4 bus ........ 2x .. * .. 4 .. = .. 8x
8 waiters .... 2(2x) .. * .. 8 .. = .. 32x

3x + 8x + 32x = 43x
