Hello,
Since we're dealing with absolute values we'll have two equations to solve:
For this 3-|8x-6|=3, subtract 3 and divide by -1 to get:
8x-6=0 8x-6=-0
These two equations will give us the same solution:
x=3/4
Make sense?
