Question 721365: Please help me with domain and range of
f(x)=x√x-4
my domain is [4,sideways 8)
do not understand range.
Please help. Thank you in advance.

Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Domain is correct. The domain is all x that keeps a non negative number under the square root. That's [4, inf).

The range is all possible values for f(x).

When x = 4, f(x) = 0. As x gets larger, f(x) gets larger and approaches infinity. Graph it to see that the range goes up forever...infinity. Range = [0, inf)
