Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(3/5)y + 1/4= 3/4
1st objective: simplify the equation:
(3/5)y=1/2
2nd objective: get rid of the denominators
The lcm (least common multiple of 5 and 2 is 10.
So, multiply both sides by 10 to get:
6y=5
Divide both sides by 6 to get:
y=5/6
