-4k+2(5k-6)=-3k-39
Answer by nerdybill(7384) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-4k+2(5k-6)=-3k-39
distribute the 2:
-4k+10k-12=-3k-39
group like-terms:
(-4k+10k)-12=-3k-39
6k-12=-3k-39
add 3k to both sides:
9k-12=-39
add 12 to both sides:
9k=-27
divide both sides by 9:
k = -3
