Good!! Yes and use the quadratic formula to completely solve the equation:
(x-5)^2 = 7
(x-5)(x-5)=7 [use FOIL to multiply]
=7 [set the equation equal to zero by subtracting "7" from both sides]
.
=0
=0 [simplify][plug-in the values into the quadratic formula]
x=7.646 and x=2.354
Check by plugging each value back into the original equation and solve
