Question 683455: Solve the equation 6+Z/-2= 14 or 6 + Z divided by -2 =14

Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Multiply both sides by -2 to remove the fraction
-2(6+z) = -2(14)
Distribute the -2
-12 - 2z = -28
Isolate the z variable
-2z = -28 + 12
-2z = -16
Divide both sides by -2
