Answer by funmath(2933)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
My problem is 4t = 2(7t + 15)
4t=2(7t)+2(15)
4t=14t+30
4t-14t=14t-14t+30
-10t=30
-10t/-10=30/-10

Check by letting t=-3 and see if both sides equal:
4(-3)=2(7(-3)+15)
-12=2(-21+15)
-12=2(-6)
-12=-12 We're right!!!
Happy Calculating!!!
