9a-7=8a
9a-8a-7=8a-8a
a-7=0
a-7+7=0+7
highlight%28a=7%29
Check by letting a=7 and see if both sides of the equation =.
1+9(7)-8=8(7)
1+63-8=56
64-8=56
56=56 We're right!!!
