I had to convert all brackets to parentheses. This is not necessary to solve the equation. =)
1. Solve the groups by nesting order. For example, I'm going to solve the group that is nested the deepest.

Continue to simplify.
2. You should now have:

Divide 16/2, because it comes first.

3. Multiplication first!

4. Okay--now comes the hard part. Try adding it. =)
