Question 67330: (3/2x-2)+(1/2)=2/x-1

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(3/2x-2)+(1/2)=2/x-1
---------------
Rewrite as:
(3/2(x-1))+(1/2) = 2/(x-1)
----------
The least common multiple (lcm) of the denominators is 2(x-1).
------------
Multiply thru by the lcm to get:
3+(x-1) = 4
x-1=1
x=2
