Subtract 2 from both sides to isolate c

The key step: since we are multiplying or dividing by a negative number, the inequality sign flips. In this case multiply both sides by -1.

Alternatively, another way to think about is if you added c and 4 simultaneously to both sides to get then as we know, putting c on the left gets us to -- the same as the first method.
