Question 66615: Solve:
x 9
----- -4 = -------
x-9 x-9
The answers to this is either -9, 9, -6, or no solution.
I tried plugging the numbers in but it does not seem to work so I believe the answer is no solution. Is this correct? Thank you very much!

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x 9
----- -4 = -------
x-9 x-9
-------------------------------
Multiply both sides by x-9 to get:
x-4(x-9)=9
x-4x+36=9
-3x=-27
x=9
But x cannot be 9 because it would make the denominators zero
So, NO SOLUTION
