Can you please help me with this solution:
2x�+10x+12=0
This is what I tried:
I divided the 10 and the 12 by the 2 that is shown at the start of the equation and i moved the x� of that 2 into the bracket. It looked liked this:
2(x+5x+6)=0
The 5x was from the 10, i divided the 10 by 2 and then i divided the 12 by 2 and i got 6.
I am unaware if i got this first step correct, if so can you please help me with the rest and if not can you please help me with the whole question.

Starting with
2x^2 + 10x + 12 =0
Factor out the 2
2(x^2 + 5x + 6) = 0
2(x+ )(x+ )both addition signs due to positive 5 and positive 6
consider multiple of 6 which will add up to 5
2(x+3)(x+2)=0
divide both sides by 2
(x+3)(x+2)=0
x+3=0, so x=-3
x+2=0, so x=-2
