.5 + m + 8 ≥ 14
m ≥ 14 - 8 - .5
m ≥ 5.5
Note: solving inequalites is the same as solving regular equations:
With the EXCEPTION of when one must multiply or divide both sides by a negative number in order to solve
THEN, that operation changes the directionof the inequality sign.
