Question 659547: -8=2(2+x)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-8 = 2(2+x)

2(2+x) = -8

2(2+x) = -8

4+2x = -8

2x = -8-4

2x = -12

x = (-12)/(2)

x = -6
