[(w+3)/4w]/(w+3)/2w to divide a fraction by a fraction you need to invert the lower fraction and multiply the two fractions thus
[(w+3)/4w]
[(w+3)*2w]/[(w+3)*4w now you can cancel out the (w+3)and the 2w from the 4w leaving only
1/2w
