Question 644877: evaluate using formulae, 36x^2 +12x+5 when x=-1

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
36x^2 +12x+5

36(-1)^2 +12(-1)+5

36(1) +12(-1)+5

36 - 12 + 5

29

So 36x^2 +12x+5 = 29 when x = -1
