Question 642260: I understand dividing basic binomial and polynomials. But I'm stuck on this on. -64x^7+48x^5+36x^3+24x divided by 8x^4. I got -8x^3+6x....then I'm stuck. The books answer doesn't make sense to me. Can you explain what to do with the remainders? Book says next would be 9/2x+3/x^3 to finish the answer. But I can't make it work. I understand that the x is on the bottom because you subtracted an x. But where do the other numbers come from?
